Day 1
All dressed up at Lil Bdash but never was it quite expected that series of unfortunate events ensued, dampening the buoyancy of the Murukus. Angie being dropped at woodleigh by unethical cabby who just wanted to earn money without any qualms for delivering his passenger to nowhere near the rightful destination, threaders resting on Sundays which we had no inkling of, the darn black heels hurt so much that there was this desperate urge to go barefooted even under the scorching sun. Took much effort and put up with much scrutiny to arrive at town and sipped iced green tea at a teahouse, finally, to soothe the fretfulness and bring back the initial smiles on Muruku's contenance. Jazzed around town for some time and adjourned home separately with few buys that were scarcely satisfying. How very FUN for the Murukus.
Day 2
Reached Lavender in the morning with Min then sauntered to Bugis to acccomplish some errands within 2 hours before tuition. Rushed to Tiong Kok's at Bedok reservoir and reached slighyly late with beads of perspiration formed on my face. Fucken HOT! Murukus are peripatetic peeps and suffer under the hands of the weather. After tuition, Murukus were finally threading those unsighly brows at Mckenzie.Angie lamented the loss of her crayon shinchan brows (ignoring my constant assurance that it was well done)while I simply appreciated mine.We then found oursleves skittering across Upper dickson and Campbell roads and many streets in search of Appollo Banana leaf restaurant. Lil Bdash was far from opulence of optical splendour which i thought it was(it really was few years back when Mild and I went).
After which we went Bk to draw up a blueprint for the Moolah plan.As the adage goes, if you fail to plan you plan to fail. The murukus are en route to success since we plan, with prescience, measuring all possibilities. Cheers!
Fruiful day 2!
